As far back as we can remember we have been surrounded by a very large and diverse group of intuitive people, who love a messy party or a good night out. Some we grew up with, some we met at school or college, and others we have met randomly along the way - but each Alan is as valued and appreciated as the next - and that is the beauty of a diverse, forward-thinking group, like the one we are proud to call the 'Alan Family'. A brief idea of what our 'Alans' are all about would have to include our combined love of mental parties, raves and festivals. We have sampled some of the finest delights that the dance music scene has to offer in the past half-decade, and prize our journey through ecstasy and new experiences as one of our biggest achievements - as what is better than living life to the full and meeting great people? We never really go out raving in anything smaller than a group of 20, and that's the way we like it! But with this, we encountered some problems - for example, imagine you are wandering round a festival at night with around 50 or more of your friends scattered around the general area - how on earth do you keep in contact with that many messed mateys? Well, the answer to our problem was discovered at Glade Festival some years ago, we started shouting "ALAAAAN" to find our peers... Ok, it may sound odd, but with everyone in the group shouting 'Alan'we managed to obtain the highest level of unity in all our raving years, and it was this feeling of unity and comfort we got from knowing that we could find each other easily, that progressed to the symbolic acronym of 'ALAN' - Awareness and Love All Nighters, which provides unity and love to anyone who wants to be a part of it. Once this new concept had been discovered, the next logical step was to organise our own night, and show people a club night Alan style! This proved easy with all the Alans working together, and we managed to create a launch night that we will never forget in so many ways; from the music to the decor, and from the people to the atmosphere they created - it was all amazing. The word of Alan was spread and well received by all you lovely honorary Alans. We are still very humble with our launch night success, and to quote an important point: 'ALAN is an acronym that naturally came to us through positive thought!' So with that in mind we plan to take things as they come, stay humble and stay positive to create an amazing clubbing experience that will be different and exciting every time. AWARENESS: We aim to spread awareness about the global exploitation of human consciousness, using the devices of quality electronic dance music, positive energy, peace, love and all night parties! By spreading awareness on these key issues we can start to build a new reality in unity - as one, and work towards a world in which humankind's true powers and abilities are recognised and utilised - not hidden and suppressed. Through music and dance we can once again celebrate the equality that can exist in human life. We believe that when all else fades away, all that exists is infinite love, respect for life, and compassion for one another - ALAN aims to expose the limitless love that exists in each and every one of us. LOVE: Love is the most powerful and positive emotion there is. In traditional Indian medicine and the many studies into the chakras of the body, it is widely accepted that loving emotions send out a short, high frequency wavelength, which connects with many points on our chakras as they leave the human body. Through true love we are capable of anything we truly desire. When we learn to love one another regardless of race, gender, age, beliefs and social status, our true potential begins to unravel as we walk the path of spiritual enlightenment and self-realisation. Love is so powerful, and such an integral part of human unity, that those in power are trying to prevent this infinite love from growing, because if it continues to grow, it will gain the power to overthrow the corruption and stop the humanitarian travesties that occur thanks to our current 'leaders'. ALAN aims to ensure that this love is never forgotten, never dies, never fades, and that it continues to grow, flourish, unite and free the human race of the emotional imprisonment that we are subjected to by the oppressive 'superiors' of the world.... The future is awareness and love. All Nighters: We aim to produce a top-quality club night that will keep you buzzing right through to the early hours of the morning. We use various tools such as a very eclectic line up, special crowd interactions, sense-stimulating themed decoration, fun and games for all, performers of all varieties, and a chance to discover 'out of the box' style information which suits your own way of thinking, and more! We raise money for a different charity at each of our club nights, which also helps to promote the idea of supporting those in need. We are also going to be conducting a number of free parties to show you what Alan is all about, so keep an eye out for them! We would also like to make clear that we are non-profit organisation, and that all profit raised goes straight back in to the next Alan cause, and any excess goes straight to charity. To summarise our general aim, we would say that we are trying to set a new standard of what people can expect on a night out, and bring a new sense of quality to the mash up rave scene that has never been seen before! Our current goal is to hold more club nights, free parties and other charity events, until such time we have the capabilities to be a part of, or even host our very own festival! This is not only possible, but likely to become a reality in the near future! Through gradual but consistent progression, with your help, and the continued interest of fun-loving, friendly people, we can build up ALAN to be at the forefront of high quality music events, and set new standards in the rave scene. ALAN is one of many new groups that are promoting the need for unity within the human race, and the real potential of the world around us. So join in, help out, come down, and tell you friends about ALAN, but please remember - ALAN wants to maintain a loving, open-minded and dynamic crowd, and we specifically design our marketing to attract the right sort of people.
